PUT GRAPHICS ON
YOUR BIKE It's a sticky
situation
1. Clean slate: Optimally, you should
get new plastic when you buy a graphics kit. If you use
old radiator shrouds, make sure you clean them with
soap, water and contact cleaner.
2. Baby steps: Start by peeling off a small
portion of the protective backing on the decal. We
prefer to do this on the upper front corner of the
radiator shroud.
3. Line up: Before you stick the small exposed
corner down make sure the graphics line up. Apply
pressure across the width of the radiator shroud to
check the bolt holes, corners and edges.
4. Peel off:Once you're sure that the holes
and edges line up, attach your small exposed corner and
slowly begin to unpeel the protective backing as you go.
Try not to touch the glue.
5. Glide on: Use one hand to pull the graphics
tight while the other smoothly applies the decal. Attach
small portions of the decal at a time. Use your hand to
iron out any bubbles.
6. Back removal: When about half of the decal
is on the radiator wing, you can attache the rest with
large side-to-side sweeping motions with your hand.
Apply a lot of pressure.
 7. Almost done: The last step is easiest.
Take what's left of the decal and stretch it with your
hand until the last of the holes line up.
8. Finishing touches: On radiator shrouds,
curves equals creases. To stop a decal from bubbling or
wrinkling, use heat. Either a heat gun or your sister's
hair dryer will warm up the graphic and make it more
pliable.
